We had a fantastic stay at a newly renovated hostel with ample space. The showers were amazing and there was even a drying room for our wet gear. The location was unbeatable, just a minute away from the bus station. The staff were really good too assist us with any questions or requests we had. I highly recommend this hostel for a comfortable and convenient stay.

Modern, clean accommodation in a cool city centre venue. Enjoyed delicious gourmet pizza and drinks at the wood-fired pizzeria. The rooftop beer garden, Secret Garden, was a real highlight. The location is super central and convenient, close to the bus and train stations.

Stayed at the Black Isle Bar & Rooms for a couple of nights. Room was basic but clean with a comfy bed and great shower. Friendly and helpful staff. Despite being near the bar, the room was quiet. Good location in the center of town. Would stay again if in the area.
Would recommend this hotel.

My family and I stayed at this independently owned hotel for a couple of nights. The location was perfect, just a 5-minute walk from the train station. The staff were incredibly friendly, and the check-in process was easy. The room was well laid out, with a comfortable bed and new, clean bedding. The shower had great water pressure, and everything was in good working order. Being over the Black Isle Brewery was a bonus, with excellent beer, cider, and pizza available. We also enjoyed taking a stroll along the nearby river.
I do recommend this hotel.

Great central location and easy access to train/bus stations. the bunk beds were of good quality and very comfortable, allowing for a good night's sleep. the restaurant downstairs served delicious food with a wide variety of options.
Some cleanliness issues were noted, and the mattresses were uncomfortably substandard. the corridors had a lingering smell of pizza and beer, which was not pleasant.

The room was warm, comfortable, and had a fairly new interior. the shower was excellent and the beds were of high standard. the location was central, right next to bus and train stations. the Black Isle Bar, located below the room, was one of the best bars in town.
Felt like home, no complaints.

The hotel was great value for money and offered comfortable bunk beds in clean and well-finished rooms. The bathroom was excellent with modern facilities. The location was central, within walking distance to shops, restaurants, and attractions. We loved the fact that the bar downstairs had a wide range of beers to choose from, and the wood-burning oven made delicious pizzas. The staff were friendly and the ambience was nice. We also appreciated the provision of free tea and coffee.
Our room was smaller than expected and lacked some basic facilities like a table and chair for working. The pub downstairs was often crowded, making it difficult to find a space to work.

I recently stayed at the Black Isle Bar & Rooms for one night during my trip to Inverness. The staff, especially Andrew, were incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to assist me. The room was spacious and extremely comfortable, with all the necessary amenities. I loved the sustainable practices of the hostel, such as the individual USB plugs and cage storage in the bunk beds. The location was also fantastic, right in the heart of the city center and easy to find.
100% Recommend this hotel.
